Ben is a skilled collaborator, fostering connections for over 30 years among divers groups with shared goals. Joining the Algebra Project in 1992 with a B.A. in Non-Western Music from Dartmouth College, a Technology in Education Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and HayGroup/Boston training in facilitation, as Executive Director he brings a wealth of institutional knowledge. Early on, Ben coordinated the project's African Drums & Ratios Curriculum. Today, Ben facilitates program implementation, designing national gatherings, guiding strategic planning, contributing to financial oversight, and coordinating staff and consultants with our Board. He excels in cultivating partnerships and engaging the public in critical issues in mathematics education.
