Cicely (Cece) Henderson is a recent graduate of Wellesley College, where she worked closely with the Institute for Mathematics and Democracy to advocate for the use of sound mathematical reasoning in democratic systems. As a current doctoral student in the combinatorics and optimization department at the University of Waterloo, she studies graph theory and design theory. When she isn’t puzzling over a research question, you can find her collaborating with the Waterloo Women in Mathematics committee, writing about math for a broad audience, or learning to swing dance.
