Rick Clark is Georgia Tech’s inaugural executive director for Strategic Student Access. In this role, he directs efforts to advance relationships with educational leaders, schools and school systems, government agencies, and community organizations to achieve the institute’s strategic vision for growing enrollment, expanding access, and ensuring affordability. He partners with Georgia Tech’s development team to fund scholarships and student initiatives.
Clark is the founder of the Georgia Tech Admission Blog, co-author of The Truth About College Admission: A Family Guide to Getting In and Staying Together, and the co-host of a podcast of the same name. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Education from Georgia State University. Clark previously served at Georgia State University, the McCallie School, and Wake Forest University.
